I believe this to be a feline related artifact. It exists in the same scientific category as the headless pigeon, flailing one winged sparrow and bloodied but still screaming frog.
All are found in the middle of the night and usually either very near or in your bed.
What the hell? How do you get those?

Ps… only axe murderers and disco divas have red carpets in their bedrooms.
The former to hide the bloodstains, the latter to simulate optimal nightclub conditions at all times.
It’s a rental, so I didn’t exactly choose the carpet. And I can assure you, it’s not hiding any stains; they’re all quite visible.
